Toby Kris Hein Delk (b. 1992) is an artist and oil painter of animals/birds, cats/dogs, horses/mammals, flowers/trees, rural/landscapes, and his styles include Album Cover Art, Bird Paintings, Naturalist Art, and Charcoal drawing.
Delk grew up in the Mid Tennesssee-South Kentucky area, and since age 5, has shown a talent and appreciation for the visual and musical arts. Influential to his life and art were trips to his grandparents and uncle in KY and TN, and German-Danish lineage. His Grandparents love for birds, nature, animals, music and spirtuality, subjects of which he shared interests with and that he includes in all his art. Last but not least, his parents that have encouraged him and exposed him to art and travel.
Delk took 2 years of art classes from Jennifer McDonald of Gallatin, TN, and 8 years of classes from renowned artist/teacher/mentor, Marion Cook of Goodlettsville, TN.
Artists and styles that have influenced his work include John James Audubon, Roger Dean, Thomas Kinkade.
